Once again, a new horse from the stables Hemifrån has been introduced, but it’s also a small treasure that must be discovered. Although Steve Mednick presented his debut album towards the end of 2006, only two years later he has already his fifth complete album at the start with "Sunset At The North Pole." That alone is quite an impressive statistic and shows, along with a manic work approach, a high degree of inspiration and creativity. All previous works were unknown to me, so I totally viewed the latest work by the singing, guitar- and keyboard-playing lawyer (his main occupation) with a 'fresh' eye.

"Ambling Toward the Unknown" was released on November 27th.  Steve is currently in the studio working on an EP with producer/writer/performer, Eddie Seville.   He is also working on his 4th CD "Sunset at the North Pole" which should be ready for release in the middle of 2008.

Steve Mednick...has a beautiful, velvety voice and poetic songs are invariably superior quality. Steve Mednick's a songwriter without really being noticed makes the most beautiful things.
