What Remains - Nelio's Dream

Lyrics > What Remains - Nelio's Dream

NELIO’S DREAM

THE SPIRITS ARE ALL AROUND US
…THEY ARE RIGHT HERE AROUND US
BUT WE CAN’T SEE OR TOUCH THEM
YET IT IS WELL TO KNOW THEY CAN HEAR US

“NOW, WHAT’S YOUR NAME?”
…I ASKED THE PALE GIRL BESIDE ME
“MY NAME IS IN THE WIND,” SHE SANG.
“IT IS IN THE WIND WE FIND OUR SOLACE”.

I ASKED: “WHERE DO YOU COME FROM?”
…FROM WHERE HAVE YOU COME TO BE WITH US?”
SHE SAID: “THE SAME PLACE YOU CAME FROM…
I COME FROM A PLACE CALLED ‘NOWHERE’”.

SHE SAID: “I WANT TO STAY HERE”
…I WANT TO STAY BESIDE YOU”
I ASKED: “WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR ME?”
“I CAN READ THE WIND” SHE ANSWERED.

HOW WOULD I KNOW THE TRUTH?
WHEN WILL I SEE THE BEAUTY?
WILL I KNOW THAT I’M DREAMING?
SHE SAID: “YOU WILL FIND YOUR OWN PATH”.

EVERYTHING COMES TO AN END
YES, EVERYTHING COMES TO AN END
WHEN IT DOES IT’S JUST AS CERTAIN
EVERYTHING STARTS OVER, AGAIN.
